Sunshine welcomed our Ladies for the first round of our Championships. Our course was in very good condition thanks to our Greens Staff, with only a few muddy patches left to clear up.
Thursday sees the 2nd round and 1st round of the Vets Championships. this gives any ladies like me, that had a forgettable 1st round a 2nd chance. Good Luck to all ladies taking part.
A group of our Ladies represented us at Roseville Golf Course the other week and had a fantastic day as well as enjoying the course, well done. Don't forget to keep checking our Away Games folder.

Norfolk Island Hardy Wines Pro Am Tournement
Michelle and I had a great week visiting Norfolk Island and taking part in the Hardy Wines Pro Am Tournement. Although the weather was not the best, they had the coldest day in 5 years while we were there, whenever it was our turn to play either morning or afternoon session we had the best weather.
Great company, locals, Trudi and Belinda, visitors from Townsville, Unya and Sandra, from MacKay, Jo, from Bundaberg, Edmund and Tessa, also Pro's Ann and Tim. Golf however left a lot to be desired so imagine our surprise when on the Friday night at the Presentation Dinner, Michelle came 2nd in the 72 hole Lady Visitors Section and I came 1st. Go Team Terrigal.......

Great Golf course but although it looks like it would be easy it is very deceptive, very long rough, narrow faiways and fast and hard to read greens.
