Terrigal Ladies away

Monday 18th July saw a contingent of our Ladies take part in the CCWGA Seniors Day at Wyong.  Brilliant sunshine welcomed us to a damp but beautifully presented course.  Judi Eaton came 2nd over the field and Annette Mc Innes won a Nearest the Pin.  Well done to all the ladies that competed.

Monday 25th July saw another contingent of Ladies compete at Everglades in their Longmarkers Cup. Cold weather but great dry course, a credit to their Greens Staff after so much rain.  Nell Spargo took out the Longest Drive, Great Work.

Fantastic to see so many of our Ladies, especially some of our new members, representing our Club and supporting the local Clubs special days. Competing in these events not only improves your golf but also has the added advantage of meeting some really nice Ladies from different Clubs.

With such great weather and a course improving every day where else would you rather be but at Terrigal Golf Course playing that cursed Par game.  Great to see some of our ladies that have been missing for a while back enjoying the game and the company.

Charity Day next week even if it rains, leave your goodies with Jenny Strangman when you arrive, she will be collecting from the back door of our room from 8am.  Gosford Ladies Golf, is the club this year hosting the District Charity Day and their chosen charity is Iris - Youth Suicide so all monies raised by all the clubs in the district will go there.

THURSDAY 7TH JULY - STROKE DAY

A very crisp day greeted the 42 Ladies that played today.   The course is slowly coming back and the sun was shinning, what more could you want after so many weeks of rain, rain and more rain.  All the courses on the Central Coast are suffering from the huge amount of rain.

Ione, Peggy and Cheryl - Work starts on new 8th Tee
Our green staff were out and about working hard to give us a great course. Work has started on renovating our 8th Tee area. Yeah finally a flat 8th tee,  realignment of the seat on the 9th Tee area to make it safer, did you also notice 2 new red pegs in the area by the wire fence, where we leave our buggies, on the 9th so that small area is now not hazard if you are unlucky enough to hit your ball there.

Results for the day:
1st Div: Chun Kim  R/U Moya Allen Gross: C. Kim
2nd Div: Susan Muna R/U Viv Ball  Gross: S.Muna
3rd Div: Margaret Molyneaux R/U Denise Byth  Gross: M. Molyneaux
NTP  2nd Christine Baddock, Alison Bone  15th Margaret Day, Elaine Clarke, Denise Byth

Congratulations to Susan Muna for passing Rules Accreditation Exam after Rules course at Everglades Club
