Fantastic group of our Ladies made our Presentation Day and Christmas Lunch a great day.
Lots of winners, lovely lunch, funny skit and lots of Ladies dancing. What a way to end our year. |

Presentation Day/Christmas Lunch

A great start to the Festive season, the weather was good, the course was in great condition and our Ladies came ready to enjoy.... We had a great turnout with some of our Ladies really getting into the spirit with their outfits.
A big Thank you to Dianne and Forresters Beach Retirement Village for the donation of 3 wonderful gifts for door prizes for our Ladies.

Congratulations to Susan Muna
Susan Muna took part in the Challenge Cup on Sunday 20th November, (32 celcius--Very Very Hot) at our Club and came 1st in B Division. Congratulations and Well Done.

1st December Closing Day, Xmas Team of 4
Can't believe how fast our last game has come around, this is our Xmas Team of 4, best 2 scores to count.
Dress up for Christmas, 7am for 7.30m start. Afterwards in our room we have our Christmas Draw for various Christmas goodies.
Every full Golf Member is able to be part of the Christmas Draw wether you play on the day or not.
Members who do play on the day, but are unable to stay for the draw may give their ticket to a friend to look after for them
Please make sure you have purchased your tickets for our Presentation/Xmas Lunch on the 8th as we need to give final numbers to the Club for catering by this Thursday. $20.00 for full playing members and $24.50 for Social Members, due to the wet Thursdays a lot of people have not paid for their tickets so please see Susan Muna after Golf on 1st Dec.
The Pro Shop will be running a 9 hole comp from the 15th December, 2011 until 22nd December, there will be no Comp on the 29th December then from the 5th January a 9 hole and 18hole comp will be running through the Pro Shop. The games from the 5th January will be on the Computer and handicapping will apply to the 18hole comp. Please remember that if you choose to play in the 9 hole comp you cannot change your mind and go in the 18 hole after finishing the 1st 9. The decision as to which comp you wish to take part in each week must be made when you are paying.
Have a great game on Thursday and good luck to all our Ladies for the upcoming Presentation.

OPEN DAY 27TH OCT.
Our open day started with good weather and only got better. Two full fields of Ladies with visitors from Gosford, Everglades, Toukley, Shelly Beach, Wyong and Hawkes Nest made our Open Day a great success.
A Big Thank You to all the Ladies that competed and to all the Ladies who worked tirelessly on the day to make sure it ran smoothly. Both Presentations were held without any delay with some very worthy winners.

BABY SHOWER
Fantastic turnout to celebrate the immanent arrival of Chun's little baby girl. We all wish Chun and Martin the very best for the arrival of the baby, can't wait for our first nurse and to see Chun back blazing up our fairways.

Monthly Medal Thursday 20th
A Fantastic Day greeted the 50 Ladies who took to the field to contest the final Monthly Medal and it showed in the great scores achieved.

It was also a Sad farewell to Michelle Thatcher, she and her family are off to take up residence in Melbourne. Michelle's bubbly personality will be sadly missed on our course. We wish Michelle and her family all the best in their new endeavours.
Womens Golf Mountain Meeting
Great time was had at Leura this week with Michelle Lee coming 2nd on Monday at Katoomba Golf Course in 3rd Division and then on Wednesday with a partner from Sydney WINNING 1st Division Foursomes at Wentworth Falls Golf Course.

Vets Trip to Forster Tuncurry
Last week a small group of Ladies plus husbands took part in the Vets Week of Golf at Forster Tuncurry,We played at Tuncurry, Taree, Tallwoods and Forster. Great time was had and some good golf.
Terrigal came to the fore in the 2bbb on Friday with Chris and Colin Baddack taking out the competition with an amazing score of 51 points. Chris getting a birdie on the 1st hole.

AGM Day
Our winners were Division 1, Moya Allen, Div 2 Cheryl Ledger and Division 3 Chris Whalan. Runners up were Di Connolly, Peggy Searle and Deanne Curby.
It was an early start, but none was late or forgot.

WEEKEND AWAY AT CLOVER LEIGH
A Group of Terrigal members, spent the Weekend Golfing at Clover Leigh a nine hole course somewhere between Cowra and Young. Great Fun was had even with the cold (freezing) and raining weather
Saturday night was a 50's Dinner so I thought you might like to see our Group - can you pick out who went......Sandra Dee and John Trevolta eat your heart out.........................

EAGLES NEST X 2
Jeff Wutherspoon from George Brand Real Estate, the sponsors of our Eagles Nest on the 2/10 th hole yesterday presented Sally Hopkins and Michelle Thatcher with their Golf Balls for their magnificent drives that landed within 20cm of the hole. Well Done girls.
CAPTAIN PRESIDENTS DAY
Our Captain Presidents day proved a huge success with 56 ladies taking part. Weather was brilliant, course was brilliant and the company was fantastic.
President's team were the victors on the day, although near the end the Captain's team were edging close till Magaret and Kerrie came in with the great score of 53 for the President's team, well done girls
